Testimonials

In my childhood and teen years, there were a few significant moments where God touched my heart so I never doubted his existence.  Growing up, I went to a protestant church every Sunday with my parents and as a young adult, began attending a pentecostal church where I was baptized in water and then in the Holy Spirit. I spoke in tongues and experienced miracles of healing. I was there for over 40 years faithfully serving and blessed with a happy, healthy family and successful career; yet I began feeling very disheartened because I was no longer seeing God doing things in my life.  I was dragging myself to church and sitting through a powerless, religious routine out of obligation to others.

Then, God showed me that I had been serving an organisation instead of Jesus, miraculously took me out, and led me to a new fellowship.  I had been trying to live a self-righteous, Christian life in my own strength and under a heavy burden of condemnation; never feeling I had done enough but God showed me there was nothing that I could do to make me right with Him.  It was only in receiving what Jesus did for me on the cross that I am made righteous before God.  Now, I am on an incredible journey full of peace, assurance, joy, truth, and power.  God is showing me how to listen to Him, rest in Him and really live in Him.
